DALI Control Protocol
DALI (DALI-2) is an international digital lighting control protocol. In simple terms, it is a lighting control system that makes the lighting in a home more flexible and intelligent.
❖ In conventional electrical systems, lighting usually works in a simple way: a switch turns a group of fixtures on or off.
❖ With DALI, each fixture can be configured individually: you can adjust brightness, change color temperature, combine fixtures into groups, or activate them as part of lighting scenarios.
❖ For example, several lighting options can be created within one room:
✔ bright light for cleaning or working;
✔ soft warm light for the evening;
✔ dimmed light for watching a movie;
✔ gradual light activation at night, so it does not feel harsh on the eyes.
❖ Control can be applied not only to a single room, but also to an entire floor, zone, or the whole house. For example, you can turn off all lights when leaving home or activate an evening scenario in the living room with a single button.
❖ DALI is especially useful in projects where lighting is not just about switching lights on, but about creating a comfortable atmosphere: in apartments, private houses, restaurants, hotels, offices, and carefully designed spaces.
❖ This solution helps make lighting more precise, convenient, and visually refined. Light becomes part of the interior and lifestyle, rather than just a technical function.
❖ The system requires lighting fixtures and equipment that support DALI. The protocol can be used both in KNX systems and in HDL Buspro solutions.
Shine Magnetic Track System
❖ A magnetic track lighting rail with a safe 48V DC low-voltage system.
❖ The track can be installed in different ways:
✔ suspended installation — the track is mounted on suspension cables and becomes a standalone interior element;
✔ surface-mounted installation — the track is installed directly onto the ceiling or wall surface;
✔ recessed installation — the track is built into the ceiling for the most minimal and seamless look.
❖ The recessed track can be installed flush with the ceiling surface, or with a visible flange protruding slightly beyond the plane.
❖ Corner elements are also available, allowing the track to transition from ceiling to wall.
❖ Fixtures can be easily moved along the track, allowing you to create lighting accents exactly where needed.
❖ The track can control one or two groups of fixtures, as it has two pairs of power conductors by default. One of the conductors can be used to control fixtures via the DALI bus, allowing each fixture to be dimmed smoothly or adjusted to a specific level — either individually or together.
❖ This protocol also makes it possible to create biodynamic lighting: the color temperature can be adjusted to reveal the full potential of the interior, since wall colors may be perceived differently under different light temperatures, or to create either a more focused working atmosphere or a warmer, more homelike mood.
❖ Available in black only.
❖ When using a DALI gateway, the system can be smoothly integrated into the overall HDL system.
❖ HDL equipment.
Adjustable Accent Lighting for the Shine 48V Magnetic Track
❖ Adjustable accent lighting with a “leg” mount. Allows you to direct the light beam to a specific area.
❖ Available beam angles: 16°, 24°, and 36°. A 36° beam angle is well suited for dining or work areas, while narrower beam angles are ideal for highlighting paintings, shelving, and other accent zones. There are three versions, differing in power and size.
❖ In addition to the standard on/off version with different color temperatures, there is also a DALI-controlled option. This allows each fixture to be dimmed smoothly or adjusted to a specific level — either individually or together.
❖ This protocol also makes it possible to create biodynamic lighting: the color temperature can be adjusted to reveal the full potential of the interior, since wall colors may be perceived differently under different light temperatures, or to create either a more focused working atmosphere or a warmer, more homelike mood.
❖ When using a DALI gateway, the system can be smoothly integrated into the overall HDL system.

Linear Fixtures for the Shine 48V Magnetic Track
❖ Long linear fixtures designed to provide even ambient lighting throughout the room, thanks to a wide 120° beam angle.
❖ Available in 3 lengths: slightly under 400 mm, 600 mm, and 1000 mm. The fixtures do not protrude beyond the plane of the track, creating a visually clean and uniform ceiling surface.

Linear Lens Fixtures for the Shine 48V Magnetic Track
❖ Linear track fixtures with lenses.
❖ This design helps minimize glare and is ideal both for creating lighting accents and for general lighting.
❖ Available beam angles: 12°, 34°, and 55°. A 34° beam angle or narrower is suitable for dining or work areas, while 55° is better suited for general lighting. Available in two lengths: 200 mm and 400 mm.

Adjustable Linear Track Fixtures with Lenses for the Shine 48V Magnetic Track
❖ Adjustable linear track fixtures with lenses.
❖ These fixtures are almost identical to the standard linear lens fixtures, but they allow the tilt angle to be adjusted up to 90° from the mounting plane. This makes it highly effective to create the desired lighting effect, for example in a wardrobe or laundry room.
❖ There is also a version with a 120° beam angle, which helps solve lighting challenges in spaces such as attic floors or staircases, where the ceiling is often sloped.
❖ Available in one length: 200 mm.

Droplight Pendant Fixture for the Shine 48V Magnetic Track
❖ The Droplight magnetic pendant fixture is an elegant solution for a work or dining area.
❖ The fixture is 500 mm long and is available with beam angles of 16°, 24°, and 36°. These narrow beam angles are ideal for zoning the lighting and creating the desired atmosphere exactly where it is needed, without disturbing the overall light balance in the rest of the room.
